Mission
TO MOBILIZE WOMEN to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.

SUBSCRIBE to Lutheran Woman Today

Lutheran Woman Today, the magazine for Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA), brings an exciting mix of faith-in-life articles, theological reflections, devotions, and human-interest stories of comfort and challenge that lift up the mission of Women of the ELCA: to mobilize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ. You'll look forward to each issue as it helps to illuminate the path you travel as a person of faith and connects you to women far and wide who share common threads of faith and commitment to building the kingdom of God.

Visit the Lutheran Women Today website for more information.

Parish Projects

God calls each of us in Micah 6:8 to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly. Let Lutheran World Relief be your partner in that call!

Thousands of women, men and children are, in very real ways, using the time, talents and treasures that God has blessed us with to serve our neighbors around the world.

They are making quilts, assembling layettes and school, health and sewing kits, gathering used clothing and new soap. In parishes and homes they are drinking fair trade coffee, tea and hot cocoa. They are purchasing fairly traded handcrafts to give as gifts and use in their own homes.

Lutheran World Relief works with partners in 50 countries to help people grow food, improve health, strengthen communities, end conflict, build livelihoods and recover from disasters. With people in the U.S., we work for justice for those we serve.
